September 11, 2001 is America's second date that will live in infamy. The United States was deliberately and maliciously attacked by terrorist forces.

These terrorists conspired together to murder innocent and wholly unsuspecting men, women, and children.

We pray for God to bless America. It is time for America to bless God. It is time Americans as one to recall from whence our help comes. It comes from the Lord.

If we are God's people, if we are called by His name, if we will humble ourselves and pray and seek His face and turn from our wicked ways, then will God hear from heaven and forgive our sin and heal our land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)

"God is our refuge and strength an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the buildings fall into the heart of the street." (Psalms 46:1-3)

"He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken." (Psalms 62:2) "The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe." (Proverbs 18:10) "For you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the foe." (Psalms 61:3)

The United States was bruised be not broken. We are in pain but not paralyzed, tested by fire and found to be true. Americans are united in this resolve, that our dead will not have died in vain. We will mourn our losses. We will bury our dead. We will bind our wounds. And, we will resist the evil doer. In our righteous anger and with the aid of Almighty God, we will bring those who preyed upon our families to their knees.

"I believe in the United States of America as a government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed: a democracy in a republic: a sovereign Nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union, one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice, and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.

I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it, to support its Constitution, to obey its laws, to respect its flag, and to defend it against all enemies." (The American Creed by William Tyler Page)
